Beijing, China (Feb. 06, 2014) - Elsevier's recently released 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List featured two distinguished faculty members of Peking University, Guanghua School of Management: Dean CAI Hongbin, Professor of Applied Economics, and JIANG Guohua, Professor of Accounting, and WANG Hansheng, Professor of Business Statistics and Econometrics.
The 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List includes 1,651 of the most elite Chinese scholars across 38 disciplines and sourced from Scopus, Elsevier's largest peer-reviewed database, according to the methodology of Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. The list is highly competitive as Scopus currently contains more than 5,000 publishers from around the world with more than 55 million articles covering a wide range of disciplines.
Elsevier stated that the publishing of the 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List demonstrates the company's recognition of China's prominence in the Global Economy and the growing importance of Chinese scholars and experts in the public.
